Registrations are now open for the 2023 season

For players born between the age range of 01 Jul 2005 – 30 Jun 2016. We invite all existing players to access the Play HQ registration links provided below.

For new players without a Play HQ profile please create one on Play HQ Log In | PlayHQ and commence the registration process.

Please note the important registration information below

• Please enter correct Date of Birth as we are required to sight Birth Certificates of new players.

To use your Active Kids Voucher, click on “Government Voucher” in the payment section. Any issues please contact Ballinajuniorafl@gmail.com for assistance.

• All fees include AFL players levy, insurances, team photo and end of season presentation, awards & medals

• All uniforms will be available at the Fripp Oval Clubhouse from April (Dates to be advertised closer to the time)

• For Superstars who were registered in the 2022 Superstar Season and want to register for the 2023 Footy for Fun Under 8’s or 9s. Due to Play HQ system limitations, these players will not be able to register until February 2023. Please let us know if your Bomber wants to play in the 2023 Footy 4 Fun competition and we can keep you informed directly when registrations are available.

• Footy for Fun competition for this year will only be U9 and U11 mixed teams for the Northern Rivers as notified by AFLQ. Players are still to register in Play HQ under the appropriate age groups set out by AFLQ (see age group) however Ballina Bombers will only field teams in the Under 9 (U8 and U9 registered players) and Under 11 (U10 and U11 registered players).

Footy for Fun

Footy for Fun competition for this year will only be U9 and U11 mixed teams for the Northern Rivers as notified by AFLQ. Auskick and Superstars Programs

U 8’s: Boys-$135, Girls-$135.
U 9’s: Boys-$175, Girls-$175.
U10’s: Boys-$175, Girls-$175.
U 11’s: Boys-$190, Girls-$175

• 6-week program (Auskick is held prior to the 2023 season commencement)

• Ballina JAFC Auskick Centre will run on Term 1 of 2023 Fripp Oval, Ballina

• The Season begins on Wednesday 8 March and will finish on Wednesday 10 May (consisting of 8 sessions)

• No Auskick during school holidays

Note: If Footy 4 fun players require shorts & socks, these will be available from April at Fripp Oval clubhouse. Club Polos will also be available however are not mandatory for Footy for Fun players

Superstars

(Players who HAVE completed Auskick program)

• $25 (post Auskick payment)

• 8-week 2023 season

• Superstar competition will follow the Auskick starting Sunday 14th May 2023

• Players can only register for Superstars if their date of birth is within the range below: 01 Jul 2010 – 31 Dec 2018

Superstars who have participated in the AUSKICK program are eligible for the discounted Superstar registration fee of $25. Please contact ballinajuniorafl@gmail.com for this code when ready to register

Superstars

(Players who HAVE NOT completed Auskick program)

• $100

• 8-week 2023 season

• Superstar competition will follow the Auskick starting Sunday 14th May 2023

IMPORTANT: For Superstars who were registered in the 2022 Superstar Season and want to register for the 2023 Footy for Fun Under 8’s or 9s. Due to Play HQ system limitations, these players will not be able to register until February 2023. Note if the 2022 Superstars want to play Superstars again in 2023 this registration can be processed at any time.
